Meet Happy and Cuddly Polly
Polly, spayed female, 1.5 years old, 33 Lbs.

It was a routine to go around checking and evaluating all AHAN rescued dogs. When I came to Polly’s foster home, I was so much welcome by a group of sweet doggies. I spotted cute little Polly sit a little far away watching me coming inside the door, wasn’t sure if she should come to me like others. I pulled a chair and sat down. Polly gradually came toward to me and not for long; she waged her tail happily to show her friendliness. By giving her some treats, she immediately became a happy little doggie to come for snuggles. With her smiley cute face and affectionate temperaments. I knew she was ready for a loving home.

Polly was abandoned when she was a puppy. She got nowhere to go but hid herself in an elementary school campus. Some students found her very adorable and friendly. They started to share their breakfast or lunch with her. After school, those students stayed a little longer to play with her, groomed her but had difficulty to take her home. Time past, some students graduated and some moved to other cities. Polly was left behind and became alone again. Without proper food, she started to search leftover on the street and came back to the campus at night. Day after day, Polly became weaker and skinny. A nice teacher posted her story online looking for someone to help her. That was the time; an AHAN rescuer spotted Polly’s story and immediately contacted the teacher to take Polly away for better care.

Polly is a very cuddly and sweet doggie. She maybe a little slow to warm up meeting strangers but is very friendly. She likes to be around with people than be with dogs. She was born with moderate and easy going natures. She certainly met pretty many nice students and teachers when she stayed at the campus. Like most pups, Polly likes toys very much. She can play happily by herself when you are busy. But once you call her name, she will run to you for snuggles like you are the whole world of her. Polly is doing well with children, too. She is patient and gentle if a young child pets her roughly. For Polly, human are the best friends. All she wishes is a home to call her own.
