Jester the Dog needs a home
Sweet Jester is a survivor in so many ways.
First, he survived high-kill Devore Animal Shelter, where he was euth listed due to several large tumors on his chest. Royce of Angels n Paws Rescue saved him and had his tumors removed, but they grew back. Using alternative treatments, he was eventually declared cancer free.
Then the Blue Cut Fire nearly devastated the Angels n Paws Rescue Ranch in Devore, and Jester and all other animals had to be evacuated.
We asked Royce if we could help this hand-shaking charmer while she got the ranch up and running again, and while with us, he was just diagnosed with skin cancer on his lower belly. The good news - it was an early diagnosis and five lesions were already removed. But odds are they will return. Our big boy also has arthritis in both knees, so he's on anti-inflammatories & pain relief.
Jester just asks for a warm couch, cuddles and belly rubs. He wants nothing more than to please you and shake your hand. He is a big lovebug of a lug.
