George the Dog needs a home

FOSTER OR ADOPTIVE HOME NEEDED ASAP!


George is house broke and I have not had crate issues...but there are always dogs and/or people here. George had to have a hip surgery but it does not seem to have slowed him down. I do not know the extent of his endurance but this boy would love a family that is active and includes him. He needs some manners and we are working on that! George has learned sit and down. He is working on stay and leash manners. George has a strong personality and needs an experienced handler. He can be dominant with kids and we will not place him in a home with children under 13. He is dog selective but enjoys play with a submissive female here. George loves the ball and the frisbee. He deserves his own home!


East TN Pit Bull Rescue adopts out to companion homes only. Adoptions require an application that is verified, a meeting that includes ALL members of the household, a home visit, and a trial period. We do not place our dogs in homes with unaltered pets or homes that have pets but do not have a vet. All of our dogs are placed as inside pets, spayed/neutered, micro chipped, vaccinations current, and HW- or treated within the last 6 months for heart worms by our vet. Adoption fees start at $150 for adults and $200 for pups.
