Bernie the Dog needs a home
Hello – my name is Bernie. I am a healthy, young Pitbull mix. After getting off to a rough start & living in an environment of abuse & neglect, I was rescued and have been enjoying the good life. I love to play fetch, get belly rubs, and be chased around the house! My signature move is my hilarious old man snore- it will definitely make you laugh. I walk well on a leash in open park environments, but dense neighborhoods make me a little nervous! I am very mellow and love to take naps when I’m not playing. I am housebroken and social with other dogs as long as you’re there to watch me! Sadly, I have had bad experiences with people and am a bit fearful when meeting new people and need a proper introduction. I will need a home that will help continue my positive-reinforcement training and would allow for a less stressful environment and lots of room to play and run. Please consider helping me continue to grow!
P.S. I am neutered, housetrained, up to date on all of my shots. I’ve never met a cat so I’m not sure if I like them or not :)
