Juno is a small, black GSD who gave birth to seven puppies in a high-kill shelter. We rescued the whole family in August of 2017 and this cutie was able to raise her pups in a great foster home. Her J puppies have all since been adopted and now it's her turn! Juno is very young and puppy-like herself. She loves to play and has been great with the foster's German Shepherds. Let's be honest- she would play all day long, with her toys and the other dog, if you let her! She loves to explore outside and everyday's an adventure for Juno!Juno has limited exposure to small children and small animals. She has a bit of a prey drive so we recommend that she not go to a home with cats, small dogs, or birds. We also think that she will fit in much better with a family that has teenagers and young adults rather than small children.
The minimum adoption donation for adults is $300 and the adoption donation for puppies is $400 - $500. This amount only partially covers the cost of veterinary care, boarding fees, and other miscellaneous expenses involved in the temporary care and adoption of our dogs and is tax deductible. The adoption donation provides that all dogs will be spayed or neutered, receive current vaccinations, and are microchipped. If not, arrangements will be made on an individual basis ( i.e., puppies who will need to be altered by 6 mos old). Special consideration may be given to those willing to adopt older dogs or dogs with physical problems.
