Adopt a Hound / Black Mouth Cur (short coat)
Honey the Dog needs a home
Estimated Date of Birth 8/23/11
Honey was found with one surviving puppy, Bunny, at a farm west of Katy. The farmer was not feeding them and she had little to eat. But now Honey has been rescued by a HOPE foster family and is in good health. Honey is a sweet, gentle, quite girl, very easy going and low maintenance. She is friendly with her foster brother dog (they like to lounge in and mosey around the backyard together in nice weather), rarely barks, and is house trained. Honey is still easily frightened of thunderstorms and unusual events in the neighborhood, like trash trucks. She enjoys going on walks in her neighborhood but pulls when she decides it is time to go home. Would you consider giving this middle-aged lady a new start and a forever home?
