We found
Buddy
at the Santa Rosa County Animal Shelter (Milton, FL) in October 2016. He is a Rottweiler/GSD mix.
Buddy,
along with his brother, were both brought into the shelter by their owner who could no longer care for the dogs. There was no information left on either of the dogs so SSRR got Buddy all his shots, nails trimmed (and cauterized because they were very neglected) and neutered.

Buddy
is a sweet and loveable dog! He is great with other dogs as well as older kids. He loves to play, especially with the two family dogs! Since he loves to chew. lots of toys and bones would be great!! He also loves to give snuggles and kisses! The shelter, as well as his foster mom, have cat tested him and he seems to show no interest at all in cats. He walks well on a leash but still pulls at first. He has gotten a lot better and with some time, he will do great! He did not have any manners, other than being housebroken, when we took him in but within a week he

learned sit, down and stay! He's also crate trained. He's a very smart boy!

Buddy
is a bit shy and doesn't trust people right away so he will need some TLC. An experienced Rottie owner or someone who has rescued dogs before would be best. It's taken some time but he's learning to trust now. He is neutered, UTD on all shots and is on HW and flea/tick preventative. Buddy came to us underweight but he's filled out nicely and is a healthy boy at about 73 lbs! He's very energetic and loves to play! His foster family has 2 other dogs that he gets along with great! They play a lot! He also loves his 8 year old human foster sister to pieces and has become quite protective of her. He would make a lovely addition to any home looking for a friendly furry pup that just wants to snuggle!
