Adopt a Australian Cattle Dog/Blue Heeler / Australian Shepherd / Mixed (medium coat)

Australian Cattle Dog/Blue Heeler / Australian Shepherd / Mixed (medium coat) Dog

Houdini the Dog needs a home

Houdini had a very rough start to life; he was part of a horrific hoarding case with 10 other dogs. Now after lots of love, socialization, and health care Houdini is ready for his forever home! He is pretty shy at first, but one he trusts you he won't leave your side! His favorite activity is giving kisses and snuggling, and trying to get a nibble of your food. He's great on leash, house trained, and gets along well with other dogs. Adopt or foster this goofy boy today! PLEASE NOTE: A SIX FOOT FENCE IS REQUIRED TO ADOPT THIS DOG.  If you are interested in adopting me, please fill out this form http://anewleash.org/animals/dog-adoption-form/

Some highly adoptable dogs who will find a forever home quickly, have a higher adoption fee. These dogs leave a financial legacy for the other animals in our care who may need extensive medical care or more time to find a loving home.

Return Policy: Foster homes save many lives, and as soon as one gets adopted, they often get another one.  So spaces fill up fast!  If you wish to return your adopted dog, please email [email protected] and be prepared to bring him/her to adoption events until a forever home is found.  In some cases their previous foster can take them back. They cannot be given away, sold, or turned in to another agency. You are responsible for keeping the dog and bringing him/her to adoption events until we find a suitable home to adopt them.
