Nellie loves being active and could keep up with someone who loves to run or just go on lots of walks. She loves the outdoors and people - her two favorite places to be are sitting out in the backyard and snuggling on the couch next to someone.
She grew up with another dog in her house but is wary of dogs that she doesn't know so would probably do best as the only pet in the house. She spent nine years being loved by her family but unfortunately she has struggled with the unpredictability of small children in the house.
Although she is anxious around new dogs and small children, she is an incredibly sweet and loving dog, that would make for a great companion in the right home.
