Adopt a Shepherd / Collie / Mixed

Shepherd / Collie / Mixed Dog

SIMBA the Dog needs a home

Est DOB: 09/15/14

Weight: 60lbs

Whn Simba was rescued as a puppy he was in a really bad condition and suffering terribly from mange and skin infections. It took a long time to get him well and turn him into the handsome, healthy dog he has become.

Due to his immune system being so low Simba was not being able to be socialized when he was a pup and is shy in new situations. We enrolled him in a board and train program to help him with this and he has made great progress but is still wary in new situations and shy with new people. Simba will need to continue to work on this.

Once he bonds with you though, he does so really tightly and will be a very loyal companion for the rest of his life. He is crate trained and working on leash training and basic commands.

Simba is a very reactive dog so needs a calm companion who will not challenge him or cause 'drama' but will put him in his place when he gets over the top (he is still a pup so can be a bit jumpy and barky with others sometimes. Breed mix is unknown.

Please consider making this wonderful boy a member of your family and contact us for more information / an adoption application.

$140 adoption fee covers spay/neuter surgery, heartworm test (in dogs over 6 months of age), core vaccinations, rabies vaccination, micro chip and registration, wormer, flea and heartworm prevention while the dog is in our care.
