Gigi the Dog needs a home

Gigi is a beautiful, young Flat-Coatted Retriever.  She came from deplorable living conditions.  She lived outside in a filthy pen with her sister.  The owners abandoned the house and left them and several other dogs to starve to death.  Even though she came from such a sad life, Gigi is a super sweet and playful girl! She loves to be snuggled and petted and thinks she is a lap dog!  Unfortunately, as a direct result of living outside and recieving no vet care, she is heartworm positive; therefore, once she is fully recovered from her spay surgery, she will undergo heartworm treatment.
