Regan has adjusted VERY well since being here. He just wants to be loved. After spending many weeks in a kennel, I took the chance that Regan just needed to burn off a LOT of pent up energy. Many people judged him as being aggressive, but I felt the only thing wrong with Regan was he needed to be active. Sure enough, I introduced him to our small pack, and he became a completely different dog. Regan's age and breed cries out for activity. It didn't take long at all for him to warm up to our dogs, and began playing with them. He will chase a ball for as long as you will throw it. His perfect home would have another medium to large dog that will play with him, and a doggie door. He does not like cats. I sincerely believe with the right trainer/training, this sweet boy can learn ANYTHING. I am very impressed with him. Someone is going to end up with a GREAT dog. 


 


Needs a home with another dog as he is very playful and loves canine companionship!! He is not kennel/crate trained, but IS doggie door trained. 


 


(Regan is not good with cats so should be in a No Cat Home!!  Also no birds!! Brings out the Pointer instincts in him!!)

ADOPTION FEES:    




Dogs:  Males - $100 and Females - $125.  This fee includes spay/neuter, vaccinations, including rabies shot, fecal, and heartworm test.  If dog has not received these services, you will be responsible for taking the dog within 30 days to Animal Hospital & Clinic of Arlington.  




Puppies in FOSTER CARE ONLY under 4 months old:  Males - $125 and Females - $150.  This includes 4 sets of vaccinations, deworming and spay/neuter/rabies shot thru Animal Hospital & Clinic of Arlington.  If puppy is too young to be altered within 30 days, approximate time for spay/neuter will be set based on age.




 Cats:  Males - $75 and Females - $100 – This fee includes spay/neuter, fecal and vaccinations (FVRCP-FELK and Rabies) thru Animal Hospital & Clinic of Arlington.  If cat is not altered, spay/neuter appointment must be set within 30 days of adoption or based on kittens’ age.  GAP does not test for Feline Leukemia (FeLV) or Feline Immunodeficiency Virus (FIV).




 Kittens in FOSTER CARE ONLY under 4 months old:  Males - $100 and Females - $125.  This fee includes two sets of vaccinations (8-10 wks & 12 weeks + rabies shot), deworming, and spay/neuter when old enough thru Animal Hospital & Clinic of Arlington.  GAP does not test for Feline Leukemia (FeLV) or Feline Immunodeficiency Virus (FIV).




If a pet has a special adoption fee, it will be listed in their individual posting!!
