Murray the Cat needs a home
Hello there! My name is Murray. I will be the first to greet you and anyone else that comes to the door! I am a very friendly and playful guy, but as my foster mom and dad say, I do have my quirks. I will let you know if you are petting me wrong and when I want to be left alone. Usually a tap of the paw is all it takes! Anyhow, I was found outside back in April very sick and matted. A very nice lady took me in and got me right over to the vet. They found out I had a very bad case of stomatitis- where my immune system was attacking the roots of my teeth, so I had to get them all removed...I only have a few little ones left. Good news is, I won't need anymore dentals!
I love to play...in fact, you will often catch me playing with the foster kittens! Those young ones are just a trip! I find them less harmless than the adult cats, probably because I had to deal with some rough and tough ones while I was outside.
Even though I was outside for a long time, it didn't take long for me to figure out the joys of indoor life. I sleep so much more soundly and don't have to worry about predators or other creatures lurking. And...I never have to get wet!
The resident dogs here are okay...I mostly tell them to mind their own business and as long as they do, they can stay here (I guess). Life would be better without them...
Because I have a tendency to use my paws to tell you to back off, I probably should not be around young children...they may not always catch on to my needs.
