Adopt a Domestic Short Hair / Mixed (short coat)
Jr. Mint the Cat needs a home
Looking for a treat? Check out our friend Junior Mint! A handsome “ tuxie”, Junior Mint is a terrific boy with a wonderful personality! A great cat for a first-time owner, Mr. Mint knows how to relax, with a fine sense of timing for naps and “chill”. He’s as playful as the next guy, particularly enjoying catnip toys, but never makes a pest of himself. He does like his meals, sitting up on his hind legs to get treats, and even following you into the kitchen to supervise your efforts. Of course, he’s hoping that you’re cooking up something for him, too. He has some adorable quirks, including the funny licking face he makes when you brush his back; he enjoys grooming and petting a lot, and will happily join you on the couch for such fun activities. Junior Mint is as delicious as his namesake and will make your life sweeter every single day.

And although he has FIV (which stands for Feline Immunodeficiency Virus) he is full of life and otherwise quite healthy. A lot of people don't realize that cats like Junior Mint don't even get a chance to get adopted at the shelter because of an unfounded stigma. FIV cats can live very long lives when they are provided with good care and regular vet checks. Every single cat deserves a home. Every. Single. Cat. Junior Mint is not an exception!
Prior to adoption, all cats/kittens are spayed/neutered, tested for FIV/FELV, vaccinated (including rabies, if age appropriate) and microchipped. Indoor homes only.
