COOPER the Dog needs a home
MEET COOPER!! **Please Note: This is a courtesy post for another rescue; different adoption fees/policy apply.
Cooper is very friendly 1 year old boy who has never met a person he doesn't like!
He is very strong and due to that and his enthusiasm, would do best in a home with adults only. He LOVES to have fun!! He sits for treats and works with a trainer weekly. Two visits with this trainer are included in the adoption fee to learn the commands he has been working on. A dog crate will also be provided as he has had some separation anxiety in the past. He sits beautifully for treats and takes them so gently.
If you reside in the east valley, Cooper’s guardian will dog sit free for life if you work and need him to go on bathroom breaks. Since he still has “puppy brain” as many dogs of this breed do until they are 3 or 4, he needs exercise daily, which would be a nice long walk! Or if it is too hot for walks, he loves to chase his Kong and will do so for 45 minutes! Cooper will eventually outgrow his current energy level as they all do, but needs daily activity and interaction.
He is a very loving dog and after a good play session or long walk, he likes his belly rubbed and is a couch potato who's content to lounge. He is good in the car.
Cooper does require a yard with a secure block wall. He is VERY smart and willing to learn new things. Cooper needs to be an only dog. He does not like cats.
