Adopt a Chihuahua / Mixed (short coat)
Taco the Dog needs a home
My name is Taco. I was taken from an abusive house where I was left outside 7/24 with a bigger dog picking on me. When PATCH foster picked me up I had puncture wounds all over my body and ears. I am a male chihuahua mix born approximately Jan 2016. I get along with all other dogs, cats, kids, in short an easy going guy. Due to being picked on by a big dog, it takes me a little longer to warm up to them but I do. I am pretty shy at first, especially with men but warm up. My foster mom thinks some people were not very nice to me, so I just need a little time to under you will not hurt me. I do fairly well on a leash, crate trained although would prefer to sleep in bed with you. Working on the potty training thing since I was left outside it is new to me. I don't mind a car ride now and then, like to play outside with kids and other dogs but my all time favorite is to snuggle and get a belly rub. Will you be my family?
I arrived at PATCH Rescue January 17, 2018.
I was born approximately January 2016.
I am approximately 8 pounds but PATCH is still trying to put maybe a pound or two on me. All of my ribs were showing when I arrived!
