Abigail Palmer the Dog needs a home
Meet Abigail Palmer! This sweet beauty was born around 1/1/2016. She’s smaller than average for the breed, and is a petite 67 pounds.
People are her main focus. She is a total love muffin, a Velcro dog, a social butterfly! Meeting new people is her favorite thing.
Abby gets along fine with the other big dogs in her foster home, but she would do fine as an only dog as long as her people are home a lot. She would do best in a home that doesn’t have very small children.
Little Miss Palmer is house trained and she walks gently on a leash. She gets excited when she knows she’s going for a car ride; she just knows that new adventures await! She knows basic commands such as sit, stay, off, all done.
She likes toys, and she can be playful and goofy. She’s generally mellow and quiet. She doesn’t vocalize much, only barking if other dogs in the neighborhood are doing so.
Abigail loves sleeping outside in the cold weather and cuddling into her outside doggy bed.
We don’t know how she is with cats, but we can find out. Since she has no interest in chasing squirrels, she might be fine with cats in the house. She hasn’t shown any interest in escaping the four-foot fence at her foster home.
She is available exclusively to adopters in the Dallas/Fort Worth area.
SPIN Pyrs are all in foster homes in the Dallas/Fort Worth area. Potential adopters are asked to make travel arrangements if they live elsewhere. All SPIN dogs are spayed or neutered, current on vaccinations and on heartworm prevention. Please go to our website www.SpinRescue.org and fill out an application for this great Great Pyrenees!
