Tessa seems to be older of the two bonded sisters. She is about 4 years old, spayed, golden/shepherd mix and about 35-40 pounds. She was owner surrender at BARC along with her sister Tana.
When they came to the rescue they were severely abused. They were scared of humans, didn’t walk on their own, had to be lifted to take them to pee/potty, never left the crate or room, didn’t eat much and never barked! Although they cowered at human adults, they got along with dogs and kids.
After many months of pack therapy and careful handling from fosters family, Tessa now is almost normal. She loves to go for walks, plays well with kids and other dogs and emotionally more stable. She also voices herself!!! She definitely is the emotional bolster for her sister Tana.

Tessay and Tana have to be adopted together; need to go to a family with gentle human handlers, kids and gentle dogs. They need experienced dog owners. They can be your couch buddies and just be there with you.
