Lucia the Cat needs a home

Lucia, born October 2012 was a beloved pet for 15 years until her owner passed away and she found herself alone at her vet's office, waiting for someone to rescue her. After sitting in a cage for 3 months, she was taken in by her foster family and now lives in a large family of dogs, kids, and other cats while she waits for a forever home.


Lucia adores human attention. One of her favorite things to do is sit in her person's lap and drool while she gets pet. Lucia has the most adorable raspy old lady meow.. and she talks ALOT. She will even answer back your questions! She gets along well with gentle children but is very grumpy with the dogs and other cats in her house. She really would prefer to be an only cat, or have just 1 or 2 other cats to deal with that could be easily avoided. Honestly in her golden years, Lucia just wants to follow her person around all day, chatting up a storm and let herself be cuddled and pet endlessly.


Adoption fee is $75 and includes FVRCP & rabies vaccinations, FIV/FELV testing, spay/neuter surgery, deworming, and microchip. All animals are examined by a veterinarian.
