Adopt a Miniature Pinscher (short coat)

Miniature Pinscher (short coat) Dog

Fred the Dog needs a home

The application is the first step in the adoption process, so if you are interested in adopting please fill out the online adoption application  first by visiting our website at www.dachshundpaws.org

Fred is a 6 year old Miniature Pinscher. Fred is a small guy weighing 10 pounds. Fred came into rescue with his brother BJ. Sadly their owners couldn't care for them any longer. Fred gets along fine with other dogs, is fine with cats, but sorry no kids. Fred does not like to be messed with when he is sleeping, so it is best for a home with no kids. Fred does look for BJ for security, but once he bonds with his person, he will be fine. Fred does enjoy to sleep in the bed with you or on a dog bed on the floor next to you. He does require you give him a blankie to cover up. Fred is a pretty mellow, easy going guy looking for a wonderful forever home.

Fred's adoption fee: $200 or $250 as a pair with BJ

We do not have a kennel or facility to visit, all dogs are kept in foster homes until their forever homes are found.
Adoption Process: Once an approved application
is on file, we will then set up a home visit. At that time we will bring the dog to the home in which you will all be sharing. We ask the entire family to be there that day. If we all agree on the placement, then the dog will stay with you that day.
