Adopt a Great Dane / Mixed (short coat)
BON JOVI the Dog needs a home
Bon Jovi was pulled from a local shelter at 6 months old as the shelter was simply too stressful for him. He has been in board and train since then and is goofy boy who loves to play, splash in puddles, and go for car rides. He also loves to just hang out with his person.
He has been hanging out with his trainer who has helped him with his manners and he knows basic obedience and walks well on a leash. The trainer says he is smart. Bon Jovi is comfortable around horses, chickens, and cattle and enjoys other big playful dogs, though he would be fine as an only dog if he part of an active family. The trainer is willing to help with the transition and to be a resource for anyone adopting this sweet boy.
If you feel your home might be the right place for this wonderful dog, the place to start is with the adoption application found at www.dfwrescueme.org/adopt. Once submitted, the foster will contact you to tell you more, and to arrange a meeting! The adoption fee for all of our dogs is $250.00, which includes their vaccinations and spay/neuter.
Bon Jovi is participating in the DFW Rescue Me Guest Dog Program, so custody and ongoing care are provided by the foster, not by DFWRM.
