Hi, my name is CHICA and I would love to meet you. I am a Spayed Female Pit Bull Terrier and Weimaraner. The shelter staff think I am about 8 years old. I have been at the shelter since Feb 07, 2018.

Chica is the perfect companion if you just want to hang out, she?s easy-going, quiet, mature and would be a good sounding board. Hey Chica, does this dress make me look fat? What do you think ? the red shoes or the black ones? Should I even go on this blind date? She is truly delightful ? engaging but not in your face (oh except for that sweet kiss I got), gently takes treats, and gets along with others. Chica has done fine in play group, more as an observer rather than a participant though here you see her trying to get little Shadow to play - (copy and paste the video) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hBy5vnqi4n0. She went on her first Beach Buddies outing last week and the couple said ?Chica is gentle and well mannered. We took her for a walk on the beach and she does well on the leash. She does not seem to like the water and did not appear to know any commands. Chica is a lovely dog and would make a great companion.? Took the words right out of my mouth!
