Lynard the Dog needs a home
The name Lynard means strong as the lion, and this is highly appropriate given his harrowing background! Lynard is a Soi Dog rescued from the illegal dog meat trade in Southeast Asia by Soi Dog Foundation, our partner rescue based in Thailand. He and a group of his friends traveled from the SDF facility in Phuket and were flown stateside to The Barking Lot in January 2018. Lynard is a friendly, charming, keen, chill and mellow pup. He walks well on a leash and is a fan of bacon treats. Lynard gets along well with other dogs and he enjoys meeting new people. He is a tad wary of sudden overhead pets from strangers, but that subsides very quickly with familiarity. Lynard loves to be scratched behind the ears and enjoys laying out in the sun. At 45 pounds and roughly 4 and half years of age, Lynard is ready to settle into a forever home to call his own!
