Adopt a Great Dane / Mixed (short coat)

Folks, I almost had my swan song after being owner surrendered to the city pound.  Frankly, I don’t git that saying. Do swans even sing? I always thought they were more the ballet type? But I digress. My name tag says Orpheus, which by the way is a Greek name of a guy who charmed people with music, so me singing a swan song was totally plawsible.   They call me Layland now, even though my name tag still clearly reads “Orpheus”. Note to self, if this is a witness pawtection program, they are not doing a very good job of concealing my really identity. I am a mellow fellow and my age is 2 years old, while my weight is 65 pounds.  After a few good meals, I should be 80 poundish since I am mostly Great Dane, thought to be mixed with perhaps Lab.  And you are not being catfished.  This is a real photo and my bio reveals my matching gorgeous regal personality. I am calm for a large 2 year old dog, but don’t be too fooled, I am happy and playful and love to run with my new buddies and I can jump like an athletic jock.  I do have to reveal that I did test pawsitive for heart worms, but I have started treatment and will be all clear soon. GOD'S DOGS Rescue, in San Antonio TX, does not have a shelter - ALL of our dogs are raised in foster homes in the San Antonio area. Each dog comes spayed or neutered, up-to-date on vaccinations that are appropriate for their age, microchipped, heartworm tested and on current on monthly flea/tick and heartworm preventative.

ALL OF THIS IS INCLUDED IN THE ADOPTION FEE OF $300.00 FOR LOCAL ( Local is in the state of Texas)! Medical records will come with each dog at the time of adoption.  IF THIS IS AN OUT OF STATE ADOPTION, TRANSPORT TO YOU is included in the adoption fee of $500.00 We transport all over the country!!
