Steel the Dog needs a home



Be prepared for Steel to steal your heart! This sweet-faced little fella is a gem of a pup. Steel is a Soi Dog rescued from the illegal dog meat trade in Southeast Asia by Soi Dog Foundation, our partner rescue based in Thailand. He and a group of his friends traveled from the SDF facility in Phuket and were flown stateside to The Barking Lot in December 2017. Anyone who meets Steel can attest to his kind-heart, docile, gentle, loving, and affectionate personality. Though a tad on the bashful side while out on walks, he has no problem getting up close and personal with you face to face if you get down to his level. During his photoshoot he walked right out of the frame and straight up to the photographer for some pets before going back to looking cute for the camera. Steel is about 4 years old and weighs 35 pounds. If you want this adorable face to greet you at the door with a wagging tail, hurry on down to The Barking Lot to meet Steel!
