Lucy the Dog needs a home
Animal Profile:
Lucy is a 3-year-old black Shepherd mix who is very smart, gentle and loving.
She is eager to please, absolutely adores kids and wants to be close to her people. Lucy walks well on leash with her training collar and loves to fetch.
She does okay other dogs with the right structure but she is not a "dog park dog." She has very high prey drive and would not be suitable for a home with cats or other small furry animals. She does need a lot of activity and would like to join
an active family.
Lucy needs a home with a securely fenced yard.

Adoption Info: $350 includes spay, up-to-date rabies/DAPPV/Bordetella vaccinations, heartworm test, microchipping, health certificate, and any other necessary costs/treatment.
Lucy's History: Lucy was an owner surrender to the high kill Devore animal shelter in December because they didn't have time for her, and she quickly went on the euthanasia list when the shelter ran out of space. Our rescue partner pulled her into a foster home in southern California where she adjusted to the "good life" and we worked to find a foster for her. She since came to Washington and was placed in a home for a year but her family is now expecting, and no longer able to manager her prey drive/animal reactivity.
