Bulldog / Pit Bull Terrier / Mixed (short coat) Dog

Petey Pinecones the Dog needs a home

What a charmer this guy is! Petey has the best underbite and it makes him look so sweet! He could live with other relaxed dogs his size and with kids as young as 8 who he can't accidentally bowl over when he's giving a kiss! Petey does not like kitties very much, but Petey is showing some signs that as he ages he may have some ACL issues and may need to see a specialist for evaluation in the future.

Petey's foster mom has this to say about him: "Petey is a very loving dog. He knows sit and he understands NO. He is very well behaved and loves to cuddle. I think that he is his happiest self once he gets to play with dogs that are as energetic as he is. But he can respect a dog if he sees that the dog has calmed down he will calm himself down too. He has really improved when it comes to walking by our side and not pulling. He still jumps when he's very excited but I usually ask him to sit down and I squat to keep him seated. He loves to kiss but he will stop kissing you if you don't want to be kissed. He is very easy going, he will let me put shoes on him on snow days and rainy days and a jacket on cold days. He follows you everywhere and will lay wherever you are. He is potty trained for sure. He loves tennis balls. "
