Domestic Medium Hair (medium coat) Cat

Cherokee the Cat needs a home

Cherokee is about 5 years old and is the biggest flirt and love sponge you have ever seen! He rolls over and over and over, all the while chirping at you to please please please come and pet him! He is a gentle boy, and gets along well with other cats. He also used to live in a house with a dog. He loves to play with toys and be brushed. He has lots of soft fluffy grey and white fur! Cherokee tests positive for Feline Immunodeficiency Virus which is a feline only, slow-acting virus. FIV simply means a cat's immune system MAY be compromised somewhere down the road or it may never affect the cat. Most cats that test positive for FIV live long, healthy lives and usually die from age-related diseases. A common misconception is that FIV is like AIDS. If cats with FIV are kept indoors all the time and receive regular vet check-ups (at least annually) and other vet care the need may occur, they can live long lives, If you have been looking for an FIV positive cat or have room for one, this guy would love you forever!
