Adopt a Pomeranian / Chihuahua / Mixed (short coat)

Three adorable little dogs who, through no fault of their own, are in need of new retirement homes.  They will be neutered on October 24, brought current on their vaccinations, including Rabies, and microchipped.  You can meet them now, and pre-adopt so that once they have their surgery, they will be ready for their new homes. 

Jet is a 9 year old PomChi who is a little shy when meeting new people, and warms up and and will seek out your lap for snuggling.  He gets along with other small dogs.  He does not like large dogs, however, or cats.  Really doesn't like cats.  He has lost most of his teeth because he didn't have any dental care when he was younger, and appreciates soft food rather than hard kibble.  He's not a playful dog; he takes his place in the family very seriously; he will bark to let you know when someone is at the door.   That face!  Isn't he adorable?

Chewy is a 12 year old senior Shih Tzu/Doxie mix.  He's a playful boy, surprising in light of his age, and he really loves balls.  He's a bit protective of his family; he wouldn't be a good match in a family with small children or cats.  He's a bit of a grumpy old man, and we think his best placement would be with a senior citizen or a quiet home.  

Johann Sebastian Bach is a 5 year old purebred Lhasa Apso.  This photo was taken before his visit to the spa.  He's a special needs pup; he appears to have some minor neurological problems.  He will sometimes walk into a glass sliding door.  He occasionally walks in circles.  But he's so adorable!  He's a big time snuggler.  Loves everyone he meets, children included.   He will require some extra vigilance in keeping him safe, but he's worth it ! He's intimidated by large dogs, but does OK with small ones.  He's not too sure of cats.
