Briar C1992 the Cat needs a home

My name is Briar.  I was born 7/15/2007 and had a rough start, but am better and ready to find my forever home.  I’m shy and can get scared easily.  I will need a human who will be patient and work with me while I get comfortable in my new surroundings.  Once we get to know each other, I will happily come lay next to you on the couch to watch TV or hang out while you’re in the bathroom or kitchen.  I like small spaces I can hide in and look out like the compartment on the cat tree or the latest Amazon box the mailman brought.  I tend to be quite mellow and am more likely to watch the other kitties play and wrestle than I am to join in. I do like to bat toys around or chase the laser pointer by myself.  I am very interested in food and love treats.  I’m not much of a talker, but I will let you know it is dinner time!  If you think you have the time to give me the love and attention I need, please fill out an application so we can meet.  Thank you!
