BAXTER is one of the sweetest dogs you'll ever meet. He was rescued from a DFW shelter death row. We are so happy to have been able to save his life. Baxter is not only sweet, he is very handsome also. We think he is about 3 to 4 years of age. He has been treated for heartworms and is now HW-.
BAXTER is a very calm, attentive, well behaved dog. He does not demand much attention but still likes to know his human is not too far away. He will sit quietly in his crate waiting for his turn to go outside. Once allowed out, he goes about his business while he keeps his eye on his human. Most of the time, Baxter goes back in his crate without any coaxing or even having to tell him. He simply goes in and sits until his human comes and shuts the door. Baxter is good with other dogs so long as they are not aggressive with him. He likes to play with both male and female dogs.
When Baxter looks at you with those big beautiful yellow/gold eyes, is as if he's looking into your soul. He is kind, loving, gentle, and would make a great dog for any family without children. Baxter has shown some issues with children so he's probably better suited to a single person or couple only.
