Children in the home must be at least 6 years old.

Previous dog experience is required, preferably large breed.

Female Great Pyrenees rarely cohabitate with other females successfully. Our goal is for each adoption to be a permanent placement, therefore homes that already have a female dog are not eligible to adopt a female Pyr.

This is Bell! She`s part of the “Ky 6", a rescued litter that`s part Pyrenees/Maremma Sheepdog. Bell was very under socialized but has nicely come out of her shell. She`s extremely sweet and has figured out that if she gives you the “Pyr Paw”, that the attention will continue. While still shy, she is happy when she is being petted and talked to. Bell has a shorter coat that will require a little brushing and that`s about it! Cats don`t seem to bother her and she seems smitten with older children. She`s going to be big girl with a big voice to match! Did we mention that she has stunning eyes and a gentle soul? This girl will be a loyal companion and will need an owner that is committed to her continued training. This mix is a beautiful mix! Bell is waiting for a furever home of her own.

Medical: Spayed, dewormed, negative for heartworm, up-to-date on vaccinations and currently on flea, tick and heartworm preventative. This dog travels with a Interstate Health Certificate required by the USDA confirming that all the above criteria have been met.

Fencing: Secure VISIBLE fencing is required; invisible fencing WILL NOT contain this breed.
