Colin the Dog needs a home
ENERGETIC & HAPPY: 5 years old / 59 lbs. Mostly Mutts adoption facility is open Mon-Sat. 11-4pm. Some of us are in foster homes so please call 770-272-6888 1st to find out if I’m available to meet during the week. I’m an enthusiastic and happy dog who wants a family that will be active with me! I am very affectionate, and love cuddles and belly rubs! I love tennis balls and playing fetch, and some of the volunteers think I may do well with agility training which sounds fun to me! I have been in the Mostly Mutts University Training Program and have done great! I know sit, sit-stay, come, down, drop it and walk politely on a leash. I love to please! I was adopted a few months ago and unfortunately, I bit a child in my family when she was kissing me on my face, so no kids please and no face kissing. I’m good with most dogs, so if you have a doggie at home, let’s meet first to see if we can be friends. I met the shelter kitty at MM, and I was interested but respectful, so if you have a kitty, maybe we can be friends. I’m doing pretty well with my potty manners on the shelter schedule with some accidents, so a refresher in my new home would be great! My former family said that I did well in their home, so it just may be that the shelter is a very different environment for me as far as potty manners. I’m well behaved in my little room at the shelter and love visits from the volunteers! You’ll notice that my fur looks different, I came in with a fungal infection and some hair loss, but it’s growing back nicely, however I may have this funky look forever. I’m sweet, affectionate and a happy kind of guy. Energy level: 7-9. I'm current on vaccinations, micro-chipped, neutered and my adoption fee is $275.00.
