Putt Putt the Cat needs a home

Putt Putt is a handsome brown tabby guy who was surrendered to a local shelter because he developed litter box issues. After he came to Purrfect Pals we did some tests and determined Putt Putt had a urinary tract infection, which we treated with medication. It is not uncommon for cats to go potty outside the box when they have urinary tract infections, as they begin to associate using the box with pain. These issues usually resolve once the kitty is feeling better and learns the box is safe to use again. Now that Putt Putt's infection is gone and he's feeling better, the box issue should be resolved. His new family will need to watch for signs of UTIs and get him treated promptly. Putt Putt is an affectionate, lovable guy who just wants to sit in your lap and be petted. Like many older cats, he has very early of kidney disease which will need monitoring. At this point he is doing well and doesn't require any special food or treatment. He has a spot on his right eye that has been checked by the vet and is not a concern. This sweet fella has had a tough break and is in need of a second chance at a forever home. He doesn't want anything unusual, just a safe place with cozy spots for napping, regular meals, kind hands to pet him, laps to occupy and someone to call his. He hasn't lived with young children, other cats or dogs and would do best in a low stress, adult home. If you or someone you know is looking for a pleasant, sociable feline companion, Putt Putt ready and waiting at the Renton Petsmart. Come on down and meet this lovely boy and be prepared to be charmed. Like all Purrfect Pals cats, Putt Putt has been viral tested, altered, microchipped and vaccinated.
