Curious - Affectionate - Playful Sally Science is a very pretty torbie cat - mostly blue-gray with a few small cream-colored splotches. You might be surprised at her age since she is still a playful and active cat with an excellent vertical jump. No surface is too high for her to conquer! She also loves chasing the laser pointer. While Sally clearly has a playful side, she also loves attention. She will let you know when she wants to be petted. While she is still warming up to her new living situation, she's already come leaps and bounds in a short time. Her foster mom describes her as "one of the most perfect older cats she's ever fostered! Sally Science came to APA! from a hoarding situation, and is joined in her foster home by Sara Scale - they spend a lot of time hanging out together. Every now and then they get a bit cranky at each other, but only words (hisses) are exchanged - no aggression. It is unclear how Sally would do in a home with dogs. She might not do well with very young kids as she sometimes gives love nips - so it's important to be able to read her signals. Sally is a pretty quiet cat most of the time and doesn't talk much. She has excellent litter box manners and has allowed nail trims without too much resistance. Sally loves scratching on any cardboard surface. She also likes having little hiding spots to retreat to as she deems appropriate. Sally has already come a long way in the two weeks that she's been in foster and is ready for a forever home in which to spend the rest of her life. It is hard to imagine that she wouldn't thrive in a home that contains a laser pointer, high perches to jump to, and loving humans (and maybe another cat).
