Clarissa the Cat needs a home
Sweet, Loving, Playful Clarissa has had a rough start to life, but is a thriving fighter now! She was found on the side of the road hit by a car. After recovering, she's now a friendly, playful, spunky girl ready for her forever home! Clarissa isn't necessarily a lap cat, but she loves to be next to you and will roll over to ask for belly rubs. She is moderately playful and loves your average cat toys - strings, balls, mice, etc. Clarissa is quite chatty - she will respond to you when you talk to her and ask for food and pets with her adorable little chirpy meow. Clarissa gets along amazingly with her foster home's pitbull. They took to each other very quickly and enjoy the company of each other - so she would be a great addition to a home with a dog! She hasn't been around other cats or kids, but is laid-back enough that she would probably be just fine with the proper introduction. If you're looking for a loyal companion - Clarissa is your gal. She can't wait to meet you! Clarissa is FeLV+ (Feline Leukemia Virus), which causes a weakened immune system and requires special care. APA! provides some medical assistance after adoption. Cats with FeLV typically have a shortened lifespan. Clarissa is not contagious to people or dogs, but should live only with other FeLV+ cats. For more information, please contact APA! or read more by our Partner, Best Friends Animal Society: http://bit.ly/2FwYCxR All APA! cats are fully vetted, spayed or neutered, and have updated vaccines and a microchip. Lifetime support is offered by our Cat Behavior Team. For further information or to meet Clarissa, please email
