Rubie (Acc) the Dog needs a home
14 March 2017: Rubie's name suits her perfectly because she is truly a gem! She is one of the sweetest dogs we have ever met. A total doll. She could not give us enough kisses and then happily fell asleep on one of our laps. This is what makes Rubie's story even the sadder -- she is a senior, about 8 years old, who was dumped at the shelter by the only owner she has ever known. It is hard to imagine someone doing that to a dog like Rubie -- one who only wants to give you her love and loyalty. She is petite at about 40lbs and must be an only dog.
