This dapper, social, 7 year old guy is one special cat. Are you looking for a cat who enjoys being picked up? Look no further! Quintin is a lap cat extraordinaire, who absolutely loves to be picked up and held. He is an outgoing fellow who will happily greet visitors and ask for pets. Quintin simply loves to be loved by people. All this wonderfulness does come packaged with some special needs. Quintin has allergic dermatitis, which requires a prescription diet and regular medication.
Quintin came to us and was adopted in 2014 after being found a stray. He returned to Purrfect Pals in August of this year because both his owners have new jobs that require a lot of travel. They simply are not home enough to care for him or give him the attention he deserves. His skin issues are well regulated at this point with meds and diet. He is on Atopica to control the skin outbreaks and eating Z/D Diet. While these are a little expensive, it's not exorbitant and certainly this awesome boy is more than worth it! He is extremely affectionate with people, and would do best in a calm environment without very young children or dogs. For the most part he does well around other cats. He eats his prescription Z/D well but he loves any food, including human food, which he will try to steal. It is important he not get into your food or other cat food. Ideally, other cats in the home would also be on Z/D (or you could invest in the fancy microchip activated feeders). Of course, Quintin is so marvelous you could decide he's all the cat you need. He is a lovely, playful guy in need of someone to snuggle.
