Sam the Dog needs a home
Meet Sam the one eyed wonder dog! Sam's journey in life may not have started out the best but he is sure the happiest dog there is! Sam ended up at the vet clinic I work at and it looked like he had been hit by a car. He ended up needing to have his left eye removed and has a limp on his left front leg (xrays show no damage). He still has a limp but it never slows him down and once he recovered from his other injuries, he has never looked back. He literally has a permanent grin and his face, loves to wag his whole body and loves cuddling with people. He loves dogs and people of all sizes. With new dogs he is a little shy and submissive but quickly warms up and loves to play bow and skip around during playtime. He is kennel trained and nondestructive to bedding or blankets. His favorite toys are big plastic bones or kong toys. He is very smart and loves learning new tricks- he currently knows: sit, shake and the “wait and eat” command before eating. We are still working on leash manners. He is house broken and loves to go on car rides. His ideal life would be short walks, cuddling, and getting to hang out with people or other dogs during the day. Please consider giving Sam an opportunity at finding his forever home.
