Hello again and thanks for taking the time to read my update. My most recent news is I don’t have eyes anymore, they think I was born with one eye that didn’t work and the other simply got worse with age. Foster mom and dad do not call me One Eyed Benny anymore. They have replaced it with Bennis.
I still like to go on walks I’m just slower than I used to be as I must sniff everything. I’m learning my way around the house and how to get outside to potty and get back in the house.
I still prefer dad to mom, but mom is nice and brushes me, which I enjoy and will even roll on my back for her to reach my belly. When they leave the house, I have to go in my room now, they say something about my safety, whatever that is.
Let’s revisit the potty business topic. I know to potty outside, I do not signal to go outside and I’m only able to hold it for two to three hours.
On a side note, I wake up to potty at 4:00 a.m.every day. Every. Day. I bark until they take me outside. I figure this is a good thing, because then I potty outside and not inside.
Well, thanks again for reading.
Benedict
Hello and thank you for taking the time to read my profile. My name is Benedict, but I answer to Ben, Benny, or One Eyed Benny as I only have one eye. It’s hard to tell from my pictures, but I’m a bit on the mature side, as such I get stiff in the hip area and I may or may not have an extra couple of pounds on me. Who wants to exercise when their hips hurt? But never fear, I take medicine which helps and I go on walks which I really enjoy. Also, these people say a home with two or less steps and more carpet/rugs than hardwood are in my best interest. I live with two other dogs and a cat, I don’t mind them, they don’t mind me but I prefer the people in the house. I like to sit on my foster dad’s lap at every opportunity, in fact I will bark at him to let him know I want up and he’s nice enough to pick me up and put me on his lap. I have my own room complete with a crate but I have no need to be in it because they say I’m a good boy when left home. I enjoy apples, pears, green beans and car rides. These people have me eating fruits and vegetables in an effort to help me slim down. These folks don’t have kids; however they say only older respectful kids for me.
Let’s talk potty business. I know to potty outside, I especially enjoy pottying on car tires, but I cannot, no matter what I do, hold it for several hours. I’M OLD, I CANNOT HELP IT. Foster mom and dad say my furever people must be home more than they are away. With that said, know this, my way of alerting you that I need to go out is very discrete, very.
Signing off for now, thanks again for reading,
Benedict
