Midwest Animal Rescue is looking for loving, caring, foster homes for rescued dogs to live while they await being adopted.
All of the rescued dogs are placed in private homes. The more foster homes that we have, the more dogs we can save from high-kill shelters that are overflowing with homeless dogs.
Most of the dogs we bring to Midwest Animal Rescue are very well-adjusted dogs. Some might need to be spayed/neutered, and some may need medical attention due to infections or injuries. A few of the dogs might need obedience training so they learn the basic commands. Some might need help learning to be housebroken.
Your foster dog's medical needs are covered by our veterinarians. The rescue will lend you a crate if you need one, and even some dog food if you need it. Our trainers will work with your dog if it needs extra training help to help it become more adoptable.
You will be supported by one of our representatives throughout the fostering time, and they will explain everything that fostering entails.
Fostering a rescued dog is very rewarding. Whether the dog you are helping is the perfect companion, or if it needs extra help, every dog knows that their life has been spared, and they are grateful that they have a bed to sleep on, and good food in their dish, and clean water to drink.
