King the Dog needs a home
King is a very appropriate name for this very handsome fellow, one might even call him regal looking.
He is a 3 year old Pit Bull Terrier with a gorgeous silvery/ pewter grey coat and beautiful eyes. He weighs a solid 67 pounds and has no idea how big and strong he actually is, so older children is the suggestion. He does need more practice walking on a leash, but once he gets a chance to race about and use up some of his energy, the return trip is very good.
King loved playing with the soccer ball in the court yard. He has gotten along well with the helper dogs here at Lollypop Farm, but of course, he must meet any resident dog. Meeting all who share your house is also requested. He can be a bit stand-offish when he first meets new folks, but this passes.
The folks in the Behavior Department have been working with King, giving him mental stimulation, making him learn new things and use his brain. This type of exercise is just as important as physical exercise. A talk with someone from the Behavior Department will help his new people continue his training in his new home.
