Adopt a Australian Shepherd (long coat)
Frankie the Dog needs a home
This is our sweet girl Frankie. She is a 2-year-old Miniature Australian Shepherd. She came to us after her owners could no longer keep her through no fault of her own. Frankie is adorable, so cute, has beautiful eyes and is very playful and cuddly. A lot of people have shown interest in her, however she needs a home where her needs will be managed prop
erly.
Unfortunately, when she came to us she was (and still is) VERY overweight. Frankie was diagnosed with Pancreatitis and IBD (Irritable Bowel Disease). Frankie must remain on a specific diet only. If this diet is deviated in any way, she could become VERY sick. We do offer medical adoption where we will pay for any medical treatment related to her IBD or Pancreatitis. However it is also very helpful if any future potential family could help out as well.
Frankie is also deaf, but that doesn’t stop her from having fun! Because she is deaf, we would like Frankie in an adult only home. We wouldn’t want any children accidentally startling her. Frankie would also do best as the only dog in the home because she loves alllll the attention she can get, however a mellow dog would be ok.
Are you interested in meeting Frankie? She is currently at board and train and is NOT at our center. If you’d like to meet her you must do our online application first. If you have any questions, please give us a call!
