Trixie Biscuits the Cat needs a home

Name:  Trixie Biscuits
Age:  1-2 yrs.
Reason for surrender:  Personal Problems
Animal ID#: A35392511

Trixie Biscuits is a young fully grown cat who frequently makes air biscuits (kneads her paws in a bicycle pedaling action). She loves getting scratched under the chin and on her cheeks, and will flop on her side and roll from side to side on her back while being pet. Trixie is probably not a good match for children as she will sometimes grab your arm and rabbit kick, and she also startles easily with loud noises and unexpected overhead movement (e.g. ceiling fans). She has short periods of high energy zoomies and is an effortless jumper onto low furniture e.g. bed and sofa, but doesn't get on countertops or go to the upper levels of the cat condo. While Trixie has access to several vertical scratching surfaces, she has only used the horizontal scratching surfaces for her claws and she is fine with having her claws clipped when she is on the sleepier side. Trixie Biscuits enjoys catnip and playing with hair ties on her own and loves chasing "da Bird" toy and the cat dancer wire cardboard toy. She mostly likes to sit or nap next to you and hang out, she is friendly but not a lap cat unless you have a blanket on top of your legs. Trixie meows occasionally to say hi, check in or protest, and she purrs to self soothe. She does not enjoy being picked up and held and does not demand a ton of attention. No issues with litterbox use and she would do best in a quiet calm household.
