Adopt a Miniature Pinscher / Chihuahua

Update 9/6-Joey is a very loving happy dog who prefers being with his humans instead of other dogs. He would do best as an only dog. He gets along with the small dogs in his foster home but can be a little too dominant when the other dogs get excited. He responds very well to commands and is super willing to please and easily trained. Joey walks very well on a leash. 

He is a good  boy that needs a calm household where he can feel safe and loved.Joey is a sweet 3 year old Minpin that was dumped at a shelter in MD by his owner. He was very scared and overwhelmed, and quite traumatized. He is now in a foster home with other minpins and learning to trust. He is learning to be part of a pack, and is doing well. He was used to having his human to himself, and is learning in his foster home that he doesn't need to use his growly voice when the other dogs come near his humans. He really wants to trust and show love. He rolls on his back for belly rubs and will nudge your hand for more petting. He is house trained and loves running around the big yard at his foster's home. Joey would do well with another older dog or as an only dog in a quiet household where his "person" is around alot. He is super sweet and has so much love to give. Joey deserved better, and now he will get it. 

My adoption fee is $300, which covers the cost of routine vetting, rabies and distemper/parvo vaccinations, deworming, spay/neuter surgery, heartworm testing, my microchip, monthly heartworm prevention, monthly flea/tick prevention, and any transport costs if applicable.
