Domestic Short Hair / Mixed (short coat) Cat

Sugar the Cat needs a home

My name is Sugar and I came to the rescue with 5 tiny 1-day-old babies.  Boy was I glad ARC came along!!  Raising your kids on the streets or in the shelter is no picnic!  All of my babies got fat, healthy and beautiful and have all found their forever homes - but I'm still here, waiting to find someone who will give an adult cat a chance.

Let me tell you a little bit about myself.  I have soft, medium long fur, which I would love for you to pet.  I am affectionate and sweet - they don't call me Sugar for nothin'!  After being on the streets, I have developed an intense dislike and fear of dogs...these things happen to a girl on the run.  I would do well with the right type of cat - there is currently a bossy, male cat here that picks on me, so no bullies, please.  But there is a lovely, middle-aged, laid back cat that I quite like.

Really what I'm looking for is love and a nice place to live.  Won't you give a girl a chance?
