Adopt a Domestic Short Hair (short coat)
Zorro the Cat needs a home
Location: Winchendon Shelter. Open hours are Thursday, 6-8pm and Sunday, 11-1pm.
Zorro was stray from Gardner who was being fed by a nice woman. He decided he wanted to come in but she couldn't keep him.
Zorro has tested positive for FIV. This means that the cat is more susceptible to colds and other conditions but can still live a long, healthy life. Many people adopt only FIV+ cats. That is a wonderful thing. What science is finding is that FIV+ cats can live in harmony with non FIV+ cats as long as the relationship is non combative. I.e. the cats get along nicely. Check out our website at ahimsahaven.org for further information.
This cat is part of our Take A Chance On Me Program. This means the cat would go to the right home for FREE. Maybe that's your home? Check out our website (ahimsahaven.org) for more details.
As always, cats that are ready to be adopted are spayed/neutered, have age appropriate shots, are micro-chipped, dewormed/deflead, and FEL/FIV tested.
