Meet Edison!
He went for a sleepover and did SO well that his foster mom wrote a personal letter of recommendation for him:
`I had the pleasure of hosting Edison in my home for a few days. He is a GREAT dog! He loves pets and cuddles, and is so eager to please. He seems completely housebroken and never even considered chewing anything that wasn''t his. He slept in a dog bed all night and waited patiently there until it was time to get up in the morning. After an evening of crate games he was very comfortable spending time in his crate. He loves to show off how well he can `sit,` and is a smart boy and treat motivated. We started to work on `stay` and he seemed to have fun learning something new. When I walked him at the shelter I was concerned by how much energy he has, but when I got him home he sat so politely to be leashed up and waited patiently for the door to open to go outside. He sits to say `please` before treats, and takes them very gently. And he is a pleasure to walk - we had such good walks together! On our walks he met children and even a cat on a leash. He was gentle and loved the attention of the kids, and was curious but polite with the cat. He does get an occasional case of the `zoomies,` but once his little frenetic energy bursts pass he''ll calm right down. I live alone and work very long hours, otherwise I would make Edison a permanent family member. I hope that he finds his forever family soon - he really deserves a loving home and he can''t wait to show you what a good boy he is.`
