Meet Libby!
Libby is a sweet and active Australian Shepherd mix who came to Happy Tails as a recovering parvo pup in July 2016. She began to have some gastric issues and was diagnosed with an inoperable liver shunt. Libby eats prescription liver diet food and is taking two medications. She's grown into a happy and active pup on this regime and will need to continue. Libby loves to play with the other dogs in her foster home and does fine with the resident cats. She's a bit shy around new people at first, but, warms up quickly. She would benefit from a home who has time to continue with socialization and training.


She hopes to meet you soon!


Prior to adoption, Libby will be spayed, vaccinated, health checked and microchipped.

Happy Tails Adoption Center is open on Sundays from 12-5 and Wednesdays from 5:30-8:30. We are located at 7940 University Ave NE, Fridley. Dogs are at events based on the availability of their foster family.

Happy Tails Rescue Minnesota is located at 7940 University Ave NE, Fridley MN 55432. We are open for adoption events from 12-5 every Sunday and 5:30-8:30 every Wednesday. If there is a certain animal you want to meet at one the events please fill out a preadoption application to directly contact their foster family or check our Facebook page to see if they will be there! Their event attendance is based on the availability of their foster family.



Home visits (video tours or in person) are required for all dog adoptions. 

All of our cats and dogs are INDOOR pets and are NOT to be left outside unattended (even in a fenced yard), or running loose!
