Eli the Dog needs a home
Eli is a young pup (under a year) with lots of love and energy. She is medium sized and weighs about 30 to 35 pounds. Eli is a small mix (lab, basenji, maybe a terrier- who knows!) with soft and smooth coat with minimal shedding. Ellie is from Missouri. She was picked up as a stray and nobody claimed her. She was pulled from the shelter by another rescue then sent to our rescue.
Eli is responding to training well but still shows signs of puppy brain. She is very treat motivated and walks great on a leash. We are still working on her jumping and her recall but both have been showing signs of improvement. Ellie enjoys playing outside, learning new tricks, and going for walks. Ellie enjoys running, tugging and tennis balls. Her foster mom thinks she would be a great dog sport dog. She is very toy, tug and treat motivated.
To help pay for vet bills and care (transportation, food, toys, etc..) a $250 donation is requested at the time of adoption. All of our adoptions are contingent upon an approved application, home visit, reference check, obedience training agreement, and signing of adoption contract. All our dogs are spayed/neutered, vaccinated, and microchipped before adoption. Our dogs are companion animals that live indoors as part of your family. Please do not apply if your plan is to have them as outside dogs, garage dogs, porch dogs or outside kennel dogs. We do not ship dogs.
